Plainland's Hardware and Rural Centre began business in 1990 as Plainland's Rural Centre. It sold mostly stockfeed and rural supplies. During the 1990's it added hardware to its product range and became part of the Thrifty-Link group. The business has experienced steady growth and in August 2011 changed from Thrifty-Link to HoME Timber and Hardware. (HoME is a big sister to Thrifty-Link) A Garden Centre was also added at this time.The business turned 21 in 2011, and this great occasion was celebrated with the launch as a HoME store. Whilst hardware offers a huge contribution to the business we have not forgotten our origin. We still offer a huge range of stockfeed and rural supplies. As with any business, it is impossible to stock everything. But if you want something we don't have we are happy to try to get it for you. We are much more than just a hardware store!

Located in the Lockyer Valley, this region consists of many rural properties, small acreages and town properties. The Plainland area is growing rapidly and many new and exciting businesses as well as long established businesses are contributing to this growth.
